NEXT EVENT: CHILD & YOUTH CONFERENCE IN LEUVEN

The KU Leuven Child and Youth Institute is organizing a two-day conference to celebrate the university’s 600th anniversary. Titled “Pathways for Future Generations: Bridging Science, Practice, and Societal Challenges”, the event will take place on February 5–6, 2025, in Leuven, Belgium.

As part of the program, the theme 'Bricks and Bytes – Exploring the Physical and Digital Environment of Children' is coordinated by Laura Vandenbosch and BUILD CARE member Ann Heylighen. Andrea Jelic will introduce the part on the role of the physical environment. This part features contributions from other BUILD CARE members: Lisa Bartha-Doering, Pleuntje Jellema, Birgit Moser, Anna-Theresa Renner, and Piet Tutenel. The session will conclude with a discussion on the role of the physical and digital environment in the lives of children and youth.
